It kills fleas through contact, so fleas do not have to bite your dog to be affected, and it works on multiple flea life stages, including flea eggs, larvae, and adults, to help break the flea life cycle. The fragrance-free formula is waterproof after 24 hours. Apply once a month as directed on the package for the dog's weight range. For extra-large dogs over 55 pounds; package contains 6 monthly doses.
